Responsible for assisting the General Manager in directing and overseeing all operational activities and departments in the hotel in order to maximize revenue, deliver a positive guest experience, and provide exceptional customer service for the guests.
Coordinates the activities of hotel personnel as directed and provides support to the General Manager by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Assists in training new associates and newly promoted associates.
o Plans, schedules, assigns, directs, and reviews associate's work.
o Reviews and approves direct report's time and attendance records.
o Conducts or assists in conducting staff meetings.
o Adheres to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures.
o Assists General Manager with counseling associates.
o Fulfills Manager on Duty shifts.
o Assists and/or leads revenue management with the implementation and execution of programs to ensure that the hotel's room occupancy and Average Daily Rate objectives are met.
o Strives to increase the level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an improved product through employee development and quality image.
o Addresses complaints, identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; may develop alternative solutions; uses reason when dealing with emotional topics and/or situations.
o Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, procedures, and priorities relating to the area(s) of responsibility.
o Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with IMM policies and procedures, applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations.
o Assists in safety training ensuring associates are aware of safety and health requirements, wearing and/or using personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary, MSDS compliance, and in meeting other applicable OSHA requirements.
o Performs quality assurance (QA) requirements for areas of responsibility.
o Thoroughly understands and implements the Brand service culture.
o Ensures orientation for new team members is thorough and completed in a timely manner.

Job Description Assistant General Manager o Assists team members in understanding guest service results; develops and follows-up on plans for improvement and expands strengths.
o Assists the GM in developing the hotel budget and capital expenditure plans.

Reviews these weekly with GM and sales.
o Assists the General Manager with scheduling based on occupancy, making sure staffing levels are appropriate to exceed guest expectations.
o Walk property numerous times daily, noting positives and deficiencies.
Follows-up with team to assess training requirements.
o Assists with sales and marketing efforts as directed o Ensures all required food audits are completed per system standards.
o Performs all shift checklist responsibilities.
o Supports team members to ensure their entire workload is completed daily.
o Assists General Manager with daily guestroom inspections.
o Performs functions of the General Manager in their absence.

Job Description Assistant General Manager SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
