Our areas of expertise are personal injury, estate planning, estate administration, real estate, and land use.

We are seeking a diligent, trustworthy, conscientious, courteous and self-motivated person to join our fast-paced law office.
This Receptionist/Paralegal position is the outward face of Yaquina Law - to our clients, our guests, and our staff.
As such, this person should, first and foremost, provide a high-end and accommodating customer service experience to our clients.
Additionally, the receptionist is responsible for maintaining office functionality.
The role requires a serious work ethic, attention to detail, foresight, and a good sense of humor.
Essential duties and
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent service to Yaquina Law clients and other guests with an attentive and friendly manner.
Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering questions or directing them appropriately, and scheduling appointments.
Drafting and filing of legal documents, managing client files and records, research, and drafting letters.
Maintains the functionality of the office by ordering kitchen and office supplies.
Assists in distributing outbound client communications and court filings.
Assists in checking mail and court files.
Opens and closes matters/files and ensure files are in good physical and electronic condition.
Witness or notarize documents.
Assist with other projects as requested.

Experience working in a professional office environment, working with Microsoft Word and Excel, and using Apple computers is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
